The ACA appoints new Deputy Chair for NextGen Group

The ACA has announced the appointment of Jordan Penning as deputy chair of its ‘Next Generation’ (NextGen) group.

The ACA’s NextGen group was formed in October 2020 to showcase the industry’s many varied, rewarding, and challenging career opportunities, support the development of the Association’s work on sustainability and innovation, to develop wider engagement with younger professionals within the membership and to act as ambassadors for the Association.

Jordan will work alongside group Chair Nicola-Jane Sellers to lead the group and continue to develop its role, promoting The ACA’s initiatives and facilitate engagement with young professionals and prospective talent.

Jordan Penning, Policy and Public Affairs Executive, The Royal Aeronautical Society says:Having been a member of The ACA’s NextGen Group for the past two years, I am delighted to take on this new role and I look forward to working alongside Nicola-Jane, an experienced air charter professional with expertise in sustainability. I am anticipating an exciting year, promoting awareness on sustainability, and securing a bright future for the charter industry.”

Passionate about aviation, Jordan is eager to advise young people on the variety of opportunities available in the air charter industry. Moreover, Jordan is keen to explore opportunities to enhance the NextGen’s engagement with schools and universities.

The NextGen group also welcome new members Jessica Thunberg, Avinode; Karina Didenko, Victor; James Hymers, CharterSync and Ekaterina Andreeva, Chapman Freeborn. The ACA is confident that they will add value to the group and look forward to their contributions in the year ahead.

Other members of the group are: Scott Butcher, Starflight Aviation; Brad Wright, Business Air News and Jordan Smith, SaxonAir.

Glenn Hogben, CEO of The Air Charter Association says: “Jordan has been an active member of the NextGen group over the past two years so it is fantastic to see him taking on the role of deputy chair. I am confident that he will do a great job, alongside chair Nicola-Jane Sellers, in driving the group and initiatives of The ACA forward.”
