UK Air Passenger Duty (APD) Consultation 2025
The ACA has been working alongside the British Business & General Aviation Association (BBGA) and the Regional & Business Airports Group (RABAA) to prepare a coordinated industry response to the UK Government APD consultation. The proposal is to increase the Air Passenger Duty (APD) tax to the highest level for ALL private aircraft over 5.7t MTOW.
This page provides information about the UK Government changes to Air Passenger Duty (APD) and the consultation to expand the scope further, to bring smaller private aircraft into the highest level of APD tax.
The APD Consultation
The consultation is to further increase the scope, to bring ALL private aircraft from 5.7T to 20T MTOW to the highest levels of taxation.
