The day after the BACA Spring Lunch

Thank you again to our sponsors, Fly Victor and Doncaster Sheffield Airport, the BACA Council and staff, and of course you, our members, without whom we could not run these fabulous events.

The Lunch was another sell-out, although a few last minute cancellations meant we were able to accommodate most requests for tickets, after running a waiting list for three weeks beforehand.

A huge thank you also on behalf of charity fly2help for your generous donations, raising a fabulous sum of around £2,800 (to be confirmed once the foreign notes have been exchanged). This amount will fund five family Air Smiles Days or a week long Aim High Educational Programme. Kind donations of raffle prizes from ACP Worldwide, Coastair, Helipass, SaxonAir and Daffy’s Gin, Signature Flight Support, Zela Aviation and Gulfstream made this possible.

We bid farewell yesterday to two long standing Council Members, Bernard Keay and Dick Gilbert, whose dedication to BACA over the years has been tremendous and they will be sorely missed by us all. We are currently recruiting for one or two new Council Members and candidates have some very large boots to fill!

Keep checking the website as photos will be uploaded in the next 24 hours. Photos may be shared by members but should be credited to BACA and photographer Susanne Hakuba.

We are planning a number of further events at BACA in 2018, please see links on this website details.

Once again, thank you for your continued support.
