The ACA is delighted to have supported fly2help once again in 2023.

Please read below a summary of how funds raised this year have been allocated and how your donations have helped so many people.

“In 2023, fly2help has allocated the donations received from the charitable fundraising events hosted by The Air Charter Association across both our Air Smiles and our Aim High Programme.

Air Smiles Days
Using this funding, we have delivered 11 family Air Smiles Days for beneficiaries and 1 large group day for over 30 Carers and their families.

Aim High Educational & Careers Programme
We have delivered virtual and physical aviation careers events across the UK for over 950 secondary pupils, offering advice, support and guidance to pupils looking at their future career choices with the focus on careers within the aviation sector.

Our Travelling Airport Outreach Resource has been delivered around the country to primary and SEND school pupils, Scout and Brownie groups and over 905 young people have participated in this programme.

Finally, our Aim High Week long Courses which operate at local airports, giving in depth access to specific aviation career options and behind the scenes opportunities has seen over 40 young people gain valuable and impactful exposure to the aviation industry to help them identify and pursue their career ambitions within the sector.

In total, the Charity of the Year funding from the Air Charter has supported over 2150 beneficiaries who have participated in fly2help activities and programmes.

Funding Support
In 2023, fly2help has received donations from The Air Charter Association through their fundraising events, the Air Charter Spring Lunch, Summer BBQ & Golf Day, the Air Charter Excellence Awards and this amounts to £12,749.00.
