The Air Charter Association (The ACA) designated 21 January as “Fly Legal Day” in 2022, in memory of the fatal accident on this day in 2019 when Premier League footballer Emiliano Sala and his pilot tragically lost their lives, when the aircraft crashed into the English Channel.
This was an illegal charter flight.
Fly Legal Day is a digital campaign. We are asking all our members and industry partners to once again join in and support us in raising awareness and help travellers recognise the dangers.
