The ACA is today announcing the appointment of Nicola-Jane Sellers as chair of its ‘Next Generation’ (NextGen) group. Nicola-Jane will lead the group, promoting greater awareness of the air charter industry and the Association’s initiatives to future talent and young professionals in the industry.
Nicola-Jane Sellers, Group Sustainability Manager, Luxaviation Group says: “I am delighted to be appointed as Chair of The ACA’s NextGen Group. I look forward to leading the diverse range of initiatives the NextGen group has planned for the year ahead, as we continue dedicating our efforts towards sustainable industry growth.”
The ACA NextGen group was formed in October 2020 to showcase and support the industry’s many varied, rewarding and challenging career opportunities, support the development of the Association’s work on sustainability and innovation, and to develop wider engagement with younger professionals within the membership.
Other members of the group are: George Romeril, Isle-Fly; Jordan Penning, Royal Aeronautical Society; Scott Butcher, Starflight Aviation; Brad Wright, Business Air News; Jordan Smith, SaxonAir; Oliver Gates, Volanteus; Thomas Porter, Jet Luxe and James Banham, Oriens Flight Operations.
Kevin Ducksbury, chair of The ACA says “The appointment of Nicola-Jane as chair of our NextGen group will ensure this important part of the Association continues to develop and support our key initiatives. The group helps us to deliver on key projects such as in-person presentations at universities and colleges, support the Association’s work on sustainability and innovation, engaging with young professionals in our membership and work with charity fly2help on its Aim High Programme.”
