Xclusive Jet Falcon 900 makes London City!
Xclusive Jet Charter was pleased to end 2014 on a high, through the completion of the CAA process to gain approval for its Falcon 900B, G-FLCN to operate into/out of London City Airport/EGLC.
Led by Bill Delahunty, Head of Training and Chief Pilot Andy Simmons, this has been a very specific process in conjunction with Dassault, the aircraft manufacturer, and the CAA, to ensure that this particular aircraft met the stringent criteria through its equipage and performance and that the flight crew received the required training.
This thumbs up allows for the new approval to be added to the recently issued EASA AOC for Xclusive Jet and opens this aircraft to the additional charter opportunities from its base in Cannes, France.
The Falcon joins the Xclusive Jet fleet that is already cleared to use LCY, further strengthening the expansive attitude of the UK carrier’s position in the charter market.
Next on the agenda for Xclusive Jet is completion of the trial for Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Approval trial which, once concluded during early 2015, will allow for the use of iPads, or similar for the storage of company documents, flight manuals and charts.
