Vote for the BACA Awards 2015

At our Autumn Luncheon on Wednesday October 14th, we will be presenting the prestigious BACA Excellence Awards for 2015, sponsored by Air Charter Service, in a spectacular event at the stunning Great Hall at Guildhall, one of the largest and most spectacular event rooms in the City of London. Tickets will be on sale in early September and all members will be notified when they are available.

Once again, this year the Award voting will be entirely completed online, and you can submit your nominations for the First Round by clicking here;

In order to make nominations for the various Excellence Award categories, we need you to please complete the survey by close of business on Friday 31 July. Any company, worldwide, can be nominated, whether they are BACA members or not. You don’t have to choose a nominee in every category, but it will be helpful if you do.

Once again we are proud to present the BACA Humanitarian Award, generously sponsored by DHL, presented each year to an individual or team who has been judged to have contributed significant and valuable efforts over the previous 12 months in the field of humanitarian aid or disaster relief, or simply a personal effort on behalf of others.

This could be, for example, a unique opportunity for member companies to say a public ‘thank you’ to any one of their staff, team or crew (or indeed, anyone) who they feel has gone the extra mile in the previous year to assist in an emergency air operation or other personal endeavour to help others. It could also provide a chance for the company to showcase the humanitarian activities in which they have participated.

So if you have a staff member or know of someone who you feel deserves this prestigious award, tell us about it with a brief note about their achievements, and maybe they could be this year’s winner. Naturally we’ll keep it confidential so that it can be a surprise on the day when the award is presented by DHL.

The three most popular nominations in each category from this First Round will then be established as Finalists, and all members will then be invited to vote for one of the Finalists in each category in a Second Round to decide the Winners. The Winners will be announced at the Awards Luncheon on the 14th October.

Please don’t forget to enter your company name in the first box of the survey, and remember that the Global Excellence Award can only be presented to a company NOT based in the UK.

I look forward to receiving your nominations by 31 July.

Kind regards,
Tony Coe
Chairman
