Recommended Offsetting Scheme

As part of your sustainability programme The ACA believes emissions offsetting is an important tool, in the short term, for our members to support the reduction of emissions as our industry works to develop zero emission alternatives.

The ACA Recommended Offsetting Scheme – 4AIR

There are many schemes available for emissions offsetting and the marketplace can be confusing with many different standards and statistics. To support member companies The Air Charter Association (ACA) has dedicated resources over several months to investigate and review numerous schemes to identify a recommended and tailored offsetting scheme.

The ACA has now partnered with 4AIR to provide our members an exclusive opportunity to address their sustainability initiatives. Whether you operate a fleet, broker-chartered aircraft, or support aircraft operations, 4AIR will help guide you through your journey to a sustainable tomorrow.

As an ACA member, you receive:

  • – a free carbon footprint analysis
  • – expert support to implement offsetting in your business
  • – a discount on 4AIR voluntary programs
  • – regulatory compliance monitoring & reporting

4AIR offers comprehensive turnkey solutions for aviation that are easily incorporated into operations of varying sizes and missions. Solutions include global regulatory compliance and reporting (e.g., EU-ETS, UK-ETS, CORSIA), SAF Book & Claim, SAF uplift documentation, carbon footprint calculations, verification, carbon offset strategy and access, and facility emissions analysis. Our approach makes reporting simplified and aligns with industry standards set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol).

4AIR possesses an exceptional project portfolio built on results-driven sustainability initiatives in place across the globe.  All carbon credits through 4AIR are quantified and verified through the most respected and international leading bodies that issue and register credits, including the American Carbon Registry, Climate Action Reserve, Verified Carbon Standard (VERRA), and The Gold Standard. Additionally, end-of-year commitment audits are independently verified by third parties.
