Smart Aviation invests in the next generation
Smart Aviation, the UK based independent aircraft charter broker has embarked on a relationship with East Surrey College to promote the aircraft charter broker profession to the next generation.
Matthew Savage, Smart’s Sales Director is working closely with Nicole Frimley, Aviation Lecturer at the college to provide actual work based projects, support and an insight in to the complete professional workings of the industry.
Smart Aviation aims to create a long lasting partnership, involving work experience placements, live business projects and ultimately hopes to see successful students joining the company as trainee brokers. The Aviation Operations students complete a work-based project as part of their study programme which Smart Aviation has helped develop to give the students a valuable insight into this exciting industry.
Nicole said “The Year 2 Aviation Operations students recently benefitted from an inspirational talk from Smart Aviation Sales Director, Matthew Savage about the role of the Charter Broker and were given an insight into working in this sector. The relationship with Smart Aviation has brought additional knowledge of this area of the industry to the Aviation Operations course and been of great benefit to the students and College. We are delighted to be working with Smart Aviation.”
