Shaun Quigley Appointed to The Air Charter Association’s International Board
Global trade body for the air charter industry, The Air Charter Association (The ACA), is announcing the latest addition to its international non-executive board – Shaun Quigley who will represent the Asia-Pacific region.
Focused on regional geographic areas, The ACA’s international board members support each other in their respective territories. They welcome new members into the Association, engage with existing members in the area, build regional authority contacts, and feed local information and member issues into the main board.
Quigley is the owner and managing director of Volantair Air Charter based in Queensland, Australia and has over 40 years’ experience in aviation. He began his career in 1983 in the Royal Air Force, serving for ten years in various locations, before moving on to spend eight years as an instructor with the Royal Saudi Air Force in Jeddah. Quigley migrated to Australia in 2001, following the completion of a commercial graduate course in Air Transportation Management and decided to specialise in air charter. Working initially for a small commercial/charter airline, Quigley then joined brokerage Independent Aviation where he spent 12 years and served as a director and partner. In 2019, moving on from Australian based airline Skytrans, Quigley co-founded Volantair Air Charter, which has a reputation for exceptional service and building strong partnerships with suppliers in the industry.
Shaun Quigley, owner and managing director of Volantair Air Charter, says: “I’ve had the pleasure of being connected with The ACA in my roles over the years. I have always seen the value of being a member and consider The ACA as the premium global air charter network. To now be appointed to the international board is both an honour and privilege.
“I look forward to supporting The ACA and its members with Australian, Pacific and Asian air charter issues and to contributing to the international board as a whole. I will be at the Air Charter Excellence Awards in November and look forward to meeting colleagues old and new.
